Project Description:

Alexander Heights Day Care Centre Modification works consisted upgrading of the existing community centre with new room layout and overall upgrade of the building.

The project included the following works:

• Demolition and removal parts of existing structures and paving areas.
• Installation of new concrete footings and slab.
• Construction of new brickwork walls and bricking up of existing door openings.
• Installation of new carpentry roof framework. New roof sheeting, penetrations and gutters installed.
• Electrical works consisted of – wiring, powerpoints, modifications to the existing DB, security and fire systems.
• Mechanical works consisted of – new ductwork, exhaust fans and mechanical units.
• Hydraulic works consisted of – new sewer pipework & prelays, water services and fitoff of fixtures and fittings.
• Installation of new aluminium windows and doors.
• New kitchen cabinets, appliances and vinyl flooring to kitchen areas.
• Installation of new ceilings, internal walls.
• Supply and installation of wall & floor tiles.
• Fabrication and installation of new toilet/shower partitions and hardware.
