Project Description:

Refurbishment and fitout of the Rockingham Youth Centre included upgrading the entry, reception area, staff room, kitchen, youth activity zone and male, female & UAT toilets.

The new Rockingham Youth Centre located on MacKinnon Street is to be a multipurpose facility that gives young people aged 12 – 24 a space to connect and learn new skills.

The spaces include a computer/IT area, individual and group study nooks, activity rooms, an outdoor workshop, two counselling rooms, a kitchen and a ‘chill out’ area.

Work undertaken on the first floor included demolition, installation of new internal walls, aluminium windows, doors, plasterwork and ceilings, tiling, cabinets, resilient flooring, hardware, painting, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic works.

The work undertaken on the second floor consists of demolition, installation of a lift, new internal walls, aluminium windows, doors, ceilings, tiling, cabinets, resilient flooring, hardware, painting, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic works.
