Project Description:

The project consisted of removing the existing principal shared path (PSP) and rerouting the path on the southern side of Guildford Station to a more suitable route.

Works undertaken included:

  • Removal of existing road safety barriers, fencing, existing PSP path and footpaths.
  • Regrading and excavation of the new path.
  • Importing and compaction of limestone and roadbase subbase.
  • Installation and wiring of 12 new lightpoles supplied by PTA.
  • Asphalting and line marking of new PSP path.
  • New limestone pitching.
  • Installation of W beam barrier and ET2000 end terminal.
  • Supply and installation of new path signage.
